Archive "Deleted files" does not archive files

Hello,

One of our users want to clean up his mailbox with the use of archiving. He has manually set up archiving for the folders he would like to archive. Inbox, sent elements and deleted files are set up with this setting:



This works fine on Inbox and Sent items. However the "deleted files" folder are not beeing archived.

Items more than 1 month ago are suddenly missing from Deleted items, and there is nothing in the archive file.

What can cause this?

Hi,

What kind of account is it? Exchange, IMAP or POP3?

If you configure "Clean out items older than" less than 1 month, let's say 1 week, does the AutoArchive work on Deleted Items?

The issue may also occur if the user has configured the account on other devices and there is a setting removes the deleted items.

Hi,

This is an Exchange account. I will try to change the archive settings to see if it works with 1 week.

I don`t think this account is set up on different devices, but I will check that too!
